The diversity and talent we celebrate at EWB is not only evident in the flags displayed and the student papers presented. It is also expressed in photos from student's homelands and personal travels. Before the conference we ran a photography competition for delegate's photos to be exhibited during the conference that expressed one of the themes below:

• Education around the world: from Austria to Zimbabwe, students engaged in learning
• Development projects: community engagement and development in action
• Cross-cultural exchange: travel experiences, diversity and cultural interaction
  

More than 100 entries were received. The best were exhibited at the conference. Collectively they show the beauty and diversity of our people, but also the contrast in access to education, technology and basic resources. However, it is very inspiring and special to see the joy on children's faces, the desire of students to learn and communities working together.
